HAMEX – When the Night Falls

HAMEX examines emotional distance on “When the Night Falls”, a track included on the five-song project MORPH. Its central subject is the gap that can exist between two people even when they are physically close, a situation that gives the project’s relationship themes another dimension.
MORPH follows the lingering effects of relationships and experiences through different emotional states. The collection links absence with physical memory and sleeplessness before arriving at the uneasy possibility that proximity does not always mean connection.
HAMEX is a music producer whose personal work sits between electronic pop, Afro house, Afro tech and Afro chill. His years behind the console came before his emergence as a recording artist, and his music draws on that experience rather than separating production from artistic identity.
“Hey Mama” remains a significant career marker, having passed four million Spotify streams and reached audiences through tens of thousands of TikTok videos. This release belongs to a more introspective project, giving the artist room to explore relationship questions within his established electronic framework.
