Dlala Thukzin – Monday Ft. Argento Dust & Felo Le Tee

Argento Dust appears on more than one collaboration within the album, making this another contribution from the artist to Thukzin’s latest project. Felo Le Tee, meanwhile, is an established amapiano DJ and producer whose catalogue includes popular releases and collaborations within South Africa’s dance music circuit.

Thukzin’s own production work has helped shape the sound of modern South African dance music, particularly through his movement between gqom, amapiano, Afro-tech and 3-step. His rise from Lamontville, Durban, included an early breakthrough producing Babes Wodumo’s “Umngan’wami”, followed by records such as “Phuze”, “iPlan” and “Ama Gear”.

The album follows a run of projects that includes Finally Famous Too and Smoothie, while his international performances have taken his music beyond South Africa. Bringing Felo Le Tee and Argento Dust together gives this penultimate track a place among the album’s wider network of producer and DJ collaborations.
