Dlala Thukzin – Imizwa Ft. Sino Msolo, Dj Arabic & Funky Qla

Imizwa is a Zulu word referring to feelings or emotions, giving the title a personal meaning. Sino Msolo’s involvement is particularly notable within the album’s line-up, as the singer has become a familiar voice on South African dance and amapiano releases, while DJ Arabic and Funky Qla bring their own production backgrounds to the collaboration.

Thukzin’s catalogue reflects a career built around production and DJ performance. Born Thuthuka Wandile Zindlovu in Lamontville, Durban, he became known for connecting gqom with amapiano, Afro-tech and 3-step, while his records “Phuze”, “iPlan” and “Ama Gear” helped take his name to a wider audience.

Funky Qla is not a new name in Thukzin’s recent work, having collaborated with him on the 2026 project Smoothie. Their continued association on this album places the collaboration within an ongoing working relationship, while Sino Msolo and DJ Arabic widen the group of contributors.
