Dlala Thukzin – Wela Ft. Tracy & JNR DE ROCKA

Dlala Thukzin joins Tracy and JNR DE ROCKA on “Wela”, the eighth track on his 2026 album Ember. The 10-track collection arrived on October 30 through Dlala Records, with this collaboration running for just over seven minutes.
Wela is a Zulu word that can carry meanings such as crossing, getting onto something or falling, depending on the context. Tracy and JNR DE ROCKA are both credited on the record, giving the track a three-artist line-up within an album that features several different combinations of South African performers.
Thukzin, whose birth name is Thuthuka Wandile Zindlovu, grew up in Lamontville, Durban. He first gained major attention through production work for Babes Wodumo and went on to establish himself across gqom, Afro-house, amapiano and 3-step, with songs including “Phuze” and “iPlan” becoming important parts of his catalogue.
His previous projects include Finally Famous Too and the 2026 release Smoothie with Funky Qla. This latest album continues his collaborative approach, giving Tracy and JNR DE ROCKA a place within a project that draws from several areas of the country’s dance music scene.
