Silica Gel – Crime Scene

Silica Gel steps into Crime Scene with a tense alternative sound that feels restless, strange and slightly cinematic.
Comes with Jagged guitars, firm drums and scattered electronic details create an uneasy atmosphere from the opening moments. The vocals add another layer of tension, while the arrangement keeps shifting between tighter passages and sections that feel more open. Rather than spelling everything out, the music leaves plenty of space for the listener to imagine what is happening beneath the surface. That uncertainty gives the record much of its appeal and makes the experience feel more like a scene unfolding than a straightforward story.
Silica Gel continue to make their music difficult to place in just one box, moving between indie rock, electronic textures and experimental ideas with plenty of freedom. Their willingness to use unusual sounds and unexpected changes has become a defining part of the band’s character.
This one suits late night headphone sessions when you are in the mood for something darker and less predictable. The layered production gives you more to notice with each listen, especially if you take your time with it.
Listen and Enjoy!
