Derek Minor – R N R
Derek Minor returns with “r n r” on October 23, 2026, as a new single in his hip-hop catalogue. The track appeared among that week’s Christian rap releases, placing it within a scene where artists often use rap to discuss belief, personal responsibility, and everyday pressures.
The abbreviated title can suggest the idea of rest and relaxation, although its meaning depends on the song’s own context. Its short form gives the release a deliberately minimal name, distinct from the more explanatory titles that appear elsewhere in Christian hip-hop.
Derek Minor is an American Christian rapper, producer, and songwriter who has also released music under the name PRo. His career includes albums such as Minorville, Empire, and Reflection, as well as work associated with the Reach Records roster and the independent music scene.
The new single adds to a catalogue that has moved between solo releases, collaborations, and production work. Minor’s long-standing presence in Christian hip-hop gives the release a place within a career built around connecting rap with questions of faith and personal experience.
