Dani Silva – Sope Ft. Rexxie
Dani Silva connects with Rexxie to deliver “Sope,” a track from their six-song Afrobeats EP A PIECE OF ME, released on October 15, 2026, through HITXLAB NG. The song runs for around two and a half minutes and forms part of the duo’s shared project.
“Sope” is a Yoruba expression commonly used to mean “say it” or “speak,” depending on context. The word is brief but familiar in everyday Nigerian speech, giving the title a local linguistic reference that may be understood differently depending on the lyrics surrounding it.
Rexxie’s wider catalogue includes major Nigerian records such as “Ko Por Ke” with MohBad and “Abracadabra,” as well as collaborations with artists across Afrobeats and street-pop. His work on this EP places him not only behind the production identity associated with his career but also as a named collaborator alongside Dani Silva.
The other tracks on the project are “Lost,” “I Dey Hot,” “Runaway,” “Again,” and “Brother Man.” Together, they make the release a compact six-song collection that presents Dani Silva and Rexxie as joint artists throughout the EP.
