Deejay Solid – Undertaking Ft. Highstarlavista
Deejay Solid links up with Highstarlavista on “Undertaking”, a collaborative release that puts both names on the same record. The title carries the sense of taking on a responsibility or committing to something, giving the song a direct phrase around which listeners can begin to approach it.
The collaboration is an important part of the release’s identity, with Deejay Solid leading the billing and Highstarlavista credited as the featured act. Joint records like this create room for artists to reach beyond their individual audiences and introduce their work to listeners who may know one collaborator better than the other.
For Deejay Solid, the release adds another collaboration to the artist’s catalogue and gives listeners a new entry point into the project. Highstarlavista’s contribution also places the featured artist alongside another name, making the pairing central to how the record is presented.
The title keeps the release easy to identify, while the two-artist credit gives it a clear collaborative profile. Listeners who follow either act can approach the record as a meeting point between their respective catalogues.
