Deobi – Nakupenda Ft. Incredible Jj
Deobi joins Sierra Leonean artist Incredible JJ on “Nakupenda”, an Afrobeats collaboration released in October 2026. The title is a Swahili expression meaning “I love you”, giving the song a romantic reference that crosses language boundaries.
Deobi, also known as Deobi Okoro, has previously released songs including “Everyday Honey” and “All Over You”. The latter also received a remix featuring BoyPee, adding another collaboration to the singer’s developing catalogue.
Incredible JJ contributes to the record from the Sierra Leonean side of the collaboration, giving the release a connection between two West African music scenes. Nigerian producer Rappnem Beats handled production, with Gran P and Mix Rhythm credited for co-production and mixing.
The collaboration adds another international connection to Deobi’s catalogue while keeping the focus on a familiar subject of affection. Its Swahili title gives the release an identity that reaches beyond the language most commonly heard in Nigerian pop music.
