Reflection and self-perception sit naturally within KIM FEEL‘s second studio album, JOURNEY, which . One of its nine tracks, “Mirror”, takes its place in a project built around the scenes, emotions and landscapes people encounter as they move through life.
The title brings to mind the way people see themselves and compare that image with the person they have become. It offers a clear point of connection to the album’s overall subject, which KIM FEEL has described as a collection of stories drawn from experiences people may recognise in their own lives.
The singer’s strength as a performer has been his ability to convey emotion through vocal phrasing rather than relying only on dramatic presentation. His career includes the mini albums Feel Free and from Feel, the full-length yours, sincerely, and widely recognised soundtrack work, including “Youth” from Reply 1988.
Seven years separate his first full album from this new release, though he remained active during that period through singles, collaborations and television soundtracks. The new collection brings that work into a broader album format, giving listeners a connected set of songs rather than a series of separate releases.
