VMRs – Reality

VMRs puts a broad subject at the centre of Reality, a title that raises questions about the difference between what people expect from life and what they actually experience.
Reality can be difficult to accept when it does not match the picture someone had in mind. A plan may take longer than expected, a relationship may change or a goal may require more work than the person first imagined. There can also be a gap between how people present themselves and what is happening privately. These situations are common, but recognising them does not always make them easy to handle.
The title leaves room for several directions. A song might approach reality as a difficult truth, a reason to appreciate what one has or a challenge to unrealistic expectations. It could also deal with the way people see the world through their own experiences. The lyrics are needed to establish which interpretation belongs to VMRs, so the title should not be used to invent a specific story or claim a particular musical mood.
One useful point is that accepting reality does not mean giving up on improvement. It means starting from an honest understanding of where things stand. Someone can recognise a difficult financial situation and still work towards a better one, or admit that a relationship has problems while deciding whether it can be repaired. Clear judgement makes change more possible because it avoids building plans on assumptions.
Reality is a simple title for a subject that affects every part of life. Its meaning will depend on how VMRs develops the idea, but the starting question is familiar: how do we face what is true while still making room for what could change?
